Taking the remote track took us to some of the best dualsport riding places and landscapes in Bolivia.
As motorcycle adventures go, the best ones are the ones you find accidentally. We entered Bolivia and knew riding to the remote Lagunas route was for sure one of the places we had to visit. But, the road looked like a massive long detour and all on asphalt.
We had to look for an alternative. Which we found. Go straight. Except, it was even more remote and we would have to carry our own fuel and everything else. And the planning took a few days to put into place.
Eventually, we set out and the riding, landscapes, and place just blew us away! It ended as one of the top routes we have done in South America in 5 years of dual-sport riding the continent.
