Little bit about the best everyday clothing

It is difficult to describe how we feel and deal with our gear and clothing we use but let me try.

Firstly, we are minimalist is a way. We travel on motorcycles, so we really have limited space available for necessities. Therefore, whatever we carry must be worth the weight and trouble.

Secondly, we need our equipment and gear to last. We do not always travel in countries where technical gear is available everywhere or at a reasonable cost. We must buy for the long run.
The challenge is to find, wrinkle-free, fashionable, packable, easy-care travel clothing. The kind of pants, shirts and clothing that is light weight and can work in hot weather, and cold weather. Easy to fly in as it is to hike the Swiss alps.

We feel like kids at Christmas when we find something that tick all these boxes. It suits our lifestyle, pocket and is great quality and warranties, we invest with smiles.

Kuhl Luna Moto jacket and FreeFlex pants. The perfect travel all round wind and water resistance, packable, wrinkle free fashion travel clothes for women

Kühl turned out to be one of those manufacturers for us.

As a woman I agree with technical qualities but for goodness’ sake I still want to feel good wearing stuff.

In general, the materials Kühl uses are not only stretchable but so comfortable and the fit just perfect for me. As a motorcyclist, when I am not using full protective gear, or if I use different base layers, I need these to be flexible and stretchy and not tear the first time I lift a leg over my bike.

Longevity and not deterioration are also very important. Some materials show shaving and stretch marks only after a few wears and absolute no-no for travel clothing. Some discolorations are acceptable, over time, but not within a few days of UV exposure or a few spills. The materials must be washable – by hand, machine and even rain!

The Kühl gear is again just ticking all the above requirements!

Kuhl Luna Moto jacket. The perfect travel all round wind and water resistance, packable, wrinkle free fashion travel clothes for women. Distinctively feminine design with softshell panels, provide stretch for comfortable travel.
KÜHL’s LUNA MOTO Women’s Jacket

Below is some more information on the current items of clothing from Kühl I am carrying:

KÜHL Luna Moto Jacket:

My Luna moto jacket can be dressed up and down easily. The jacket works well with just a tshirt or a dressier shirt. It is light enough as a quick layer yet has enough space for a few thin layers too in case it is a bit colder outside. A perfect outer layer. The sleeves can also be rolled up a bit to change the look.

Design incorporates softshell stretch panels which makes for eaier movement and comfort. Durable wax coated fabric makeit both wind and water resistance. Not just for motorcycling, this womens jacket is also a perfect companion for backpacking, hiking or just casual overseas trips or daily use.

Garment weight: 318 G | 11.2 OZ – a good packing weight for such a versatile jacket.

The fabrics used are both wind and water resistance. Kühl incorporated softshell panels that provide stretch and reduce bulk for an increased range of motion.

Materials used:
Fabric: DYNAWAX™ 62% Cotton, 27% Polyester, 11% Nylon | 195 GSM
Fabric 2: TUFFLEX™ 88% Nylon, 12% Spandex C6 DWR | 180 GSM

KÜHL Freeflex Roll-Up Pants:

I am so impressed with these technical travel pants! They keep their form even after a few wears and is super comfortable. The material is stretchy material makes the pants perfect for even motorcycling (although as a base layer, off cause).

So wonderful that they can double up as ¾ pants too! A 2-in-1 set of pants that can be dressed up or down easily. The pants wash easily and dries super quick. It packs compact enough and is lightweight. My Freeflex roll-up pants, whether rolled up or worn straight, look good and feel great.
