I have no words. Its such an incredible honour to be a small part of the newest Adventure rider motorcycle magazine in South Africa!
A legend and friend Cyril Klopper is the drive and editor behind this project for Weg-tydskrif and it will be published in Afrikaans and English. He worked tirelessly to get excellent dualsport content for the magazine.
Luggage, motorbike clothing, interviews with people like Charley Boorman, Deon Meyer and such legends. There’s stuff about boots and all other kinds of motorcycle travel awesomeness.
For now there will be 2 editions a year. Hopefully it goes off well and they can keep it going and even add more editions per year.

Hartlik dank aan almal wat hom oor die eindstreep help dra het.”
What makes this so special for me is that this, the very 1st publication will also be the 1st time one of my photos will be on the front page of a magazine.
Congrats Cyril it is a super exciting project you took on, I hope you moer this one out of the park!
So, if you’re a South African biker and especially an Adventure bike addict, show some love and get a copy
Good day..I want to subscribe this magazine for my hubby for Christmas.
How did I go about getting it
Hello Nela, you can subscribe to the magazine here: https://www.zinio.com/za/weg/weg-ysterperd-i535311 or here: https://www.zinio.com/za/go/go-motorcycle-i535310
I bought my copy today and have to say! Well done! I literally read it from cover to cover. Well written and very informative. The section on the different bikes from lightweight to heavyweight was excellent. This is a debate myself and some friends have all the time. Allthough I’m a BMW fan (have 2 in my garage) the KTM 390 seems the clear winner to me in the lightweight stakes. 😃👍🏻 Keep up the excellent quality of the Mag!
Hello Nico, dankie vir die lekker opmerking.
Cyril did a hellova job on the magazine and it is one of the biggest honours to have been able to contribute to the magazine.
I agree with you on the GS310 and KTM. And I really wish they want to make proper adventure bikes from them 😉
We are from Botswana and are travelling by home made BMW sidecar through Uruguay, Argentina and Chile for 6 months. I write a diary with pics— if you are interested to publish parts of it? Let me know: ulrikafranken@gmail. Com
Hello Rika, we do not really publish stories from other travellers, this is our personal blog 🙂
